Shamanic Lineage – a Divine sacred blessing

There is a calling in your soul, calling you home, calling you to exactly that which is aligned to your heart and your I AM presence.
You will know as your heart expands and you feel joy when you follow it. The more you are in your body the more you will feel it and the less it will be just an idea in your head.
For those who are called shamanically, remember that you don’t find shamanism – the Ancestors select you and guide you along your path.
They work at one with your God/Goddess or Higher Self, they are not separate from God as some parts of the world envisage. They are absolutely at One with the Divine, (in their ascended state) and they are walking with you. They help to bring the wisdom, knowing, strength and power to you in the flow of Divine Love and this is especially empowered when embraced in a sacred shamanic lineage.
A shamanic lineage is a blessing from the Ancestors that has been handed down each generation through them into you to be entrusted with it – so you then carry the blessings of the lineage. This blessing is only passed on if given with an open heart, it cannot be taken. With each shamanic medicine or tribe there is a different lineage which can be passed on in several different ways although mostly it is passed on in sacred shamanic ceremony after learnings and initiations have taken place and the teacher knows the student is ready to receive it. The student may be put through a series of tests as the elders make sure they are embodying the teachings and ready before receiving the lineage. This is the same for every Ancestor that received the lineage i.e. they have earned it.
The initiations and blessings of the connections of any shamanic Ancestral lineage are given to you by your teacher, who has also been initiated by his teacher and this way there is a flow in the energy from teacher to teacher down the lineage. The experience that has been accumulated by the Ancestors that have done their earth walk prior to you and are now in Spirit also share their teachings with you. The Ancestors are our bones and blood, they have been fully present in the physical realm and this is also why the shamanic lineages are so powerful as they are fully manifested Spirit walking physically and tangibly on Earth. They are also so powerful as they include the specific sacred collective generational wisdom from the evolutionary lineage of the medium worked with be it plant, animal or other medicine and/or the connection to the sacred realms of the 4 elements – earth, air, water and fire).
The lineages that combine the Ancestors with the 4 elements are very powerful for this Earth walk as we are the elements and these lineages strengthen the connection to the Mother Earth as such you are able to draw down more Divine Light as you are fully anchored. For example, in the Xhosa sacred bead ceremonies you fully experience the oneness with the Water, the web of life (Earth) and connection to all the trees, the blessings of the Ancestors and the Air and the Divine Heart through the element of Fire. During these bead ceremonies you have an in depth personal experience with the Spirit of each element and each of the directions, some may call stronger to you and you will know which one calls you the strongest. The one that does, is your most powerful ally in the 4 directions and may form part or all of the archetypes in your soul medicine wheel. Other lineages may also call you such as animal medicine, plant medicine or the medicine from the spirit of different tribes.
With a blessed shamanic lineage you become incredibly strong through the power of the Ancestors and you are held and blessed like the hands of the Goddess/God are surrounding you. Knowing who you are becomes greater, you are less swayed by others and your medicine is shaped to your soul exactly and perfectly as you become one with the Ancestral lineage and they become one with you. The lineage helps you to hold the medicine space as the Ancestors of that medicine or tribe support you in your work and work through you.
A shamanic lineage also helps you align with the flow of life. When you are not in the flow, and you are intending to follow the Divine flow, your lineage will more strongly help you to return to the path you are meant to be on. Sometimes the guidance can come through signs and intuitions from your Higher Self (I Am Presence) that can manifest as visions, feelings, sights, smells and even appear in the physical. These physical things that happen to you (be they good or bad), are there to help you to see what it is you need to look at especially if your intent is to heal and reach your soul purpose - everything will be striving to get you there. A true shamanic lineage empowers this, bringing strength and support with ease and grace like nothing else can through difficult times in life. It does not make life easier but makes it deeper, more meaningful as the blessings of the lineage pour through you allowing you to help others in ways you could not manage by yourself.
When you truly call on them and allow them in with an open heart, they will answer. As these sacred lineages are given as blessings the ceremony allows them to merge and unite with your own Ancestors of your mother, father and those of your soul journey.
